If you want to succeed at article submission or any business for that matter you have to play by the rules otherwise the gatekeepers will throw your articles in jail, you will not pass go and you will not collect your $200. Stop Selling and Start Telling, The Resource Box Affirms The Readers Opinion
If they are not sold by the time they read the article and get to your resource box your article needs to be revisited by your chief editor, which in many cases is you. The resource box should affirm your credibility in a third party way and it should confirm what the reader is thinking; that you are indeed and expert. Keep it short and to the point, this is what is, what it can do for your and how to use it.
Do Not Confuse Your Reader With Too Many Ideas or Products
It seems as if most of American society is A.D.D and they simply do not have the attention span to absorb large chunks of information. If you have a big article consider breaking the article into bite size chunks and guide your reader to your destination with multiple short articles. Very few people have the time or the attention span to digest a five page article with a description of three different products. Keep it short and simple stupid, remember the tried and true KISS principle.
Don’t Beat Around the Bush
Tell your reader what it is, what it can do for them and how to get started. It is a fact in today’s fast paced society people do not have time for long diatribes of information. Keep it short stupid KISS, is still a great rule to abide by. Look at your article and ask yourself if it can be broken up into multiple articles. Can you turn your article into a guidance system that directs your reader directly to your conclusion?
An Article Is Not A Turkey, Do Not Stuff It With Keywords
Granted good search engine optimization is important and you must use keywords to get your article found on article submission sites and with the search engines. However, too much of a good thing can alienate your readers and decrease the traffic you receive to your site. When you use keywords, place them strategically instead of stuffing the content so full that it is hard to decipher.
Beware of The Ultimate Sins Of Article Submission
While using your website content may seem like the easy way out by copying and pasting, it will only hurt you in the long run if you use it for article submission sites. Search engines are not in favor of duplicate content and you will hurt your article and website rankings by duplicating your own content. What’s more is you will defeat the purpose of writing the article which is supposed to provide just enough information to entice your reader to find out more by visiting your website.
